Motorcycle Paddock Stands
With modern motorcycles, especially sports bikes, centre stands are no longer a feature saving on weight and improving the style and overall looks. However this compromise is at the cost of convenience. Paddock stands are designed to lift the motorcycle off the floor so that wheels can be removed to replace tyres or for fitting tyre warmers prior to a trackday or a Motorcycle race. Rear Paddock stands are designed to lift the Motorcycle off the floor using Bobbins or cotton reels that are fitted to the motorcycle swinging arm or by using flat pads, that are part of the paddock stand, that fit onto the underside of the Motorcycle Swinging arm. Front Paddock stands are designed to lift the motorcycle off the floor by fitting under the fork legs. Both front and rear paddock stands use a cantilever system.
