R&G Bobbin Kits for BMW Motorcycles, or R&G Cotton Reels as they are also known, are Rear Motorcycle Paddock Stand Bobbins that fit onto the underside of the Motorcycle Swinging Arm so that a forked type paddock stand can be used to lift the motorcycle off the floor. R&G Bobbin Kits are Manufacturer and Motorcycle specific due to the bolt size, application and thread size. In general the Fixing Bolts fit flushly into the inside of the Paddock stand Bobbins. R&G Bobbin kits double up as an extra sacrificial point of contact if the motorcycle was to be layed down and will reduce the damage done to the rest of the motorcycle.
