R&G Crash Mushrooms, or Crash Bungs as they are often referred to as, use a variety of fixture and fittings, depending upon specific motorcycle manufacturers and models, from traditional bolt on Protectors through to the new Aero style protectors that use Brackets or directly mounted to the engine or frame. All R&G Crash Protectors use de-embrittled bolts, to prevent fracturing or snapping in an impact, and internal steel sleeves within the protectors to prevent compression.
