Description
This Optimate Socket Accessory Connector TM72, with an AMDC Plug, allows easy connection from pre 2012 Optimate or pre 2015 Accumate Battery Chargers into the Motorcycle Accessory Socket or a standard car cigarette lighter socket for charging the vehicles battery. This TM72 lead is compatible with the Optimate Power Socket TM78 (with the red cap removed), Optimate Cigarette lighter socket TM68 (red cap retained) and accessory sockets fitted on early Triumph, BMW and Honda Motorcycles (the detachable red sleeve will require removing). This Optimate TM72 Optimate male lighter lead is for switched live connection, i.e the female part of the socket switches off when the ignition is turned off. rewire the plug accordingly – this is a simple job as screw terminals are used.
